10 - 20 box order = 30% discount
21+ box order = 40% discount

Our Own Trees, Shrubs and Herbaceous Plants
Approximately 120 acres at Rolling Hill Farm have been allowed to grow into mature Virginia forests. The VA Natural Heritage Program Ecologists that inventoried the property in Sept. 2006 identified three habitats - Acidic Oak-Hickory Forests, Piedmont Floodplain Forests and Mesic Mixed Hardwood Forests. We were pleased to find out that there are no endangered habitats on Rolling Hill Farm. Our native Virginia trees, shrubs & herbaceous plants are available for purchase at all stages of growth - from seedlings to mature specimens. We can provide trees for yamadori bonsai, Japanese Gardens or native flora for naturalized landscaping, floral design or crafts. We hope to have milled timber available in 2008. Information on Commercial Moss Availability is listed on this page also. We can provide moss for large landscaping applications. Our Own MOSSES
Rolling Hill Farm is home to acres of mosses. We have identified three plentiful families of moss: Dicranum (Rock Cap Moss), Leucobryum (Cushion Moss) and Polyrichum (Haircap Moss). These mosses will be available for sale in April 2007. We will also be selling moss covered rocks, bricks (from an old home site) and moss growing wood pieces. These mosses will be harvested from acreage we are clearing to create a vineyard. We will be harvesting strips of mosses and propagating new moss growth where we have harvested. Call Celeste at 757-237-1515 for current updates and your projected moss needs. We can deliver moss to: Charlottesville, Lynchburg, Richmond, Williamsburg and Hampton Roads. We can ship moss to all other locations.
